Evan Rachel Wood shows off huge diamond engagement ring
Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson have been laying low for some time, so that you can imagine our surprise when they were snapped by shutterbugs leaving a Hollywood eaterie together yesterday evening. We completely spaced this odd pair is getting ready to be man and wife! And while the approaching wedding of these unusual lovebirds has left us a little confused, one thing is for sure - Wood's engagement band is a stunner. The star of the flick 13 - who's now only twenty-two years old - was spotted with a square-cut diamond on her ring finger. The beautiful gargantuan rock was placed in an antique setting. While many of us could find Manson a touch weird and weird, we don't like to judge their upcoming marriage promises. Actually Wood dished to Elle Mag back in 2007 about how head-over-heels she's for the surprising rocker. She described him as "beautiful, actually human and just fantastic. It may amaze you simply how healthy and loving our relationship is. ".

Also in Armani Prive was Jennifer Lopez in a less than flattering structured strapless robe.
Other debatable decisions came from Mariah Carey who was virtually bursting out of her petrol blue Valentino semi-strapless robe threatening a wardrobe malfunction at any moment. Tom Ford, not surprisingly in his very own label tux, was sporting nearly as many diamonds as the actresses he followed. His shirt studs were each one or two carats worth of great princess cut diamonds and he wore an ideal gardenia in his lapel. Colin Firth was also in a Tom Ford tux with stunning art deco studs in what seemed to be like platinum and onyx and George Clooney, ever classy in his trusted Armani suit, also wore interesting studs ; these, he revealed, were "from my uncle". Oscar Awards Jewelries
When the words, Oscar Red Carpet are related, one of the first photographs that comes to mind is fashion and jewelry. Jewelry trends usually alter on the red carpet from classic white diamonds, to colorful gemstones or assorted kinds of plush costume jewelry. "I think this year at the Academy Awards, as we typically see, it should be plenty of classic, old Hollywood glamour," foretells Francesca Ferrante from the Diamond Info Centre. "Whether its huge statement earrings or two bracelets layered together, the diamonds are going to be important but still that unsophisticated beauty that we see. Annually at the Academy Awards there's routinely 400 million dollars worth of diamond jewellery.
That is a lot of carats per star." Last year colourful jewelry made a statement when Angelina Jolie wore a long black strapless Elie Saab robe with long green earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.
This year, color is back. You can certainly see them on the red carpet in all forms - hanging earrings, giant bold rings, and button earrings. "One of the largest trends we're going to see on the red carpet is color. We have already seen give up a bit. We had Diane Kruger wearing Harry Winston at the SAG ( Screen Actors Guild ) Awards," related Lindsay Meyer from Building Communications. "Colour truly makes a piece pop. It can actually add to any outfit. Stars have constantly been keen on platinum. Platinum actually brings out the color. We're going to see a large amount of blues plenty of greens. There are some great options available from KWIAT.
They feature some dazzling vintage designs with sapphire and ruby." though diamonds are a fail-proof solution to any jewelry and accessory concern, many do not wish to trouble with the responsibility that comes with carrying millions of greenbacks worth of valuable gems on their bodies. The choice is to wear a splendid piece of costume jewellery. "That's right we're going to be seeing a large amount of stars wearing costume jewelry rather than real diamonds, because they will be able to. Because they do not want to be wearing a millions greenbacks worth of diamonds and worry that something occurs when they can just wear costume jewelry and be cushty that nothing is going to happen to the jewelry and they look good in it," explained Leah-Vail Soloff from Fingerprint Communications.
Early on in the year, the hot fashion guru, Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan opted to wear a huge piece of costume jewelry by Marni to the Cristic's Choice Awards. The countdown starts with less than one week till we know for certain, what the hottest trends will be re jewelry.
